About the Happy Kid Card
What is the Happy Kid Card? It’s the card that lets kids pick their own yummy flavoured popcorn from Kernels, where signature flavours and long–time favourites are sure to satisfy the snacking urge. Or use it at Mastermind Toys for that awesome game they’ve been longing for. Or maybe it will fuel their big imagination with one of the thousands of top books from Indigo.
The Happy Kid Card lets them choose their own back–to–school style and outfits at The Children’s Place, or use it to find new sneakers or skates from Sport Chek. If they’ve built up an appetite, the Happy Kid Card lets them fill their bellies with pizza, pasta and all–you–can–eat menu items at East Side Mario’s. The Happy Kid Card is more than a gift card, it’s a chance for kids of all ages to see what’s out there and choose how they want their own adventure to unfold.
One gift card, so many options. The Happy Kid Card is redeemable at East Side Mario’s, Indigo, Kernels Popcorn, Mastermind Toys, Sport Chek, or The Children’s Place locations in Canada.

In–Store Redemption ONLY
Redeem the Happy Kid Card for food, merchandise or services at the time of payment. Please inform the cashier or server of what the current balance on your Happy Card is. They will need to redeem the card like they would a prepaid credit card, not like a standard gift card. The total amount of your purchase should not exceed the balance available on the card. If the purchase amount is larger than your balance, ask the cashier if they offer split transactions, where the cashier swipes the card for the exact amount available on your Happy Card, and then you pay the remaining balance with another form of payment, similar to splitting a bill at a restaurant. Not all retailers will conduct split transactions, so please check before you make a purchase.
To redeem a Happy Card at a self-serve or point–of–sale terminal, swipe the magnetic stripe on the back of the card and then sign the receipt if required.
Every purchase will automatically be deducted from the value on the card until the balance reaches zero. This card can be used across all retailers shown on the front of the card. Once the entire balance has been spent, it can no longer be used as a method of payment.
